 The Event Management module consisted working with a charitable organisation, where we had to execute a live event. In order to raise money for both a charity of our choice, and the charity Graduate Fashion week. Within this module we had to work in groups, we were allocated a job role with responsibilities. My allocated job role was PR, which suited my skills and knowledge very well. As PR expenditures are rapidly changing, businesses are experimenting with new marketing techniques such as digital marketing ecommerce platforms and events, to connect with target consumers.

My role within this module constituted of building up a strong cliental with local media networks, to promote the event in order to create awareness, through uses of new and extensive media performances. Throughout this module my strengths played to this role by writing a strong piece of marketing collateral, such as the Press Release, event name, and marketing material. The Press Release describes the event in a very descriptive and enticing manner, which landed us a section within an online Magazine-TheAsianOnline. In terms of creative flare, creating the name Bollywood bliss for the event, gave the event a very innovative feel which enticed our target consumer to the event. Due to the PR side of the event, the PR aspect has created a strong marketing collateral, which made the event a great success.
